Entering the gate of Angkor Thom from the victory gate just like entering the gate to the past when the kingdom still alive and the warrior arrived from the war and won the war. This site has 5 gates on each direction plus one as victory gate. Getting around her is easy, get the tuk tuk and will take you... More

The entire complex took half the day to complete, but well worth it. Stunning. More

The vast area with tons to discover make one day not enough. Wish I have three days to just grasp more of the place. It was good that we went to the Siem Reap National Museum first so that we have at least a little idea of the history behind the stones. More

We thought that we would be tired of seeing temples by the time we make it to Angkor Thom (it was literally 100F out, afterall) but Angkor Thom was quite unique! We are happy that we decided to visit- More

We loved Angkor Thom and have about a million photos to prove it. Do not skimp on Angkor as you head round Cambodia / Vietnam / Thailand. Most people seem to be here for 3-4 days. Treat that as a minimum and give yourself time to explore this amazing complex of temples. The gorgeous sculptures, the heady heights of the... More

We couldn't guess how we could handle four temples in four days. Even with the heat (95 F.) it was easy and Angkor Thom was the best. 600 meters of detailed bas relief sculpture showing war, peace, heaven, earth, kings, priests and, most fascinating, everyday life a thousand years ago. Our official guide was great, knowledgable and enthusiastic (but he... More

Try to see this temple due to the interest given by the film and the fact that the roots of the surrounding trees are intertwined with the stone. A smaller temple which is a fascinating 10 min drive by tuk tuk from Angkor Wat. More

Really enjoyed this location, much to see, much bigger than Angkor Wat, with lots of statutes that are more intact, don't miss it. More

Of all the temples I've visited during my Cambodian trip, this was the best! It's full of relics and stories and it was soooo interesting. I know with so many temples you must be confused, which one to visit, but this is a must see temple to put on your list. More
