I liked the night market, definitely worth doing while in Siem Reap, but it wasn't as amazing as I had hoped. I didn't quite get to spend as much time as I had hoped. My tip is to go later on, like after 8pm. We originally went at 6pm, before dinner (it opens at 4pm), and were surprised that not... More

The night market gives you an alternative to the markets during the day. It's much more low-key, and the goods on offer you can get in the Old Markets or the Central Markets for the same price, if not cheaper. I was expecting an active food stall section, which there is not, and that made it disappointing. But as a... More

If you have been in Night Market in Malaysia, Thailand etc, then you will know what a night market should looks like. We were disapointed with this so called 'night market', no street food, not many shop/stall..... More

It's ok if you haven't visited others in Asia or want to be reminded that all the cheap stuff comes from one source? Generally I would make the comment that the vendors, whilst eager to sell, are not so "pushy" as in Ho Chi Minh City , for example. We went in one evening and my wife said "I'm in... More

The Angkor night market has a wide variety of stalls selling similar products. If you want something for a certain price and one stall won't give it to you for that, then go to a different stall selling the same thing. you can also barter to get better prices. If you are a tourist be very careful about the prices... More

My girlfriend and I enjoyed the night market. It's clean and tidy. There are interesting products, decent craftmanship and prices. We saw two ATMs. The ANZ one dispenses USD. There are some chillout bars and massage stalls within the market. Enjoy! More

If you like looking at Chinese tat, drinking over-priced cocktails or having your feet nibbled by fish to the accompaniment of very loud Gangsta Rap then this is for you. It wasn't for me. There are one or two stalls that seem leftovers from a past happier life (selling shadow puppets, for example) but these are few in number and... More

I thought this market was badly set-out, didn't have as many items for sale as other local markets, and the prices were way higher (even with bargaining). Don't get me wrong its nice to look around a market of an evening, but look is all I would do. More

If you have seen one night market in SE Asia then this one will come as no surprise. Stall after stall of mass produced souvenirs aimed squarely at the tourist wallet. Did not see any genuine Cambodian handicrafts. Much touting for "massage' in dubious looking facilities. If you have never seen an Asian night market then you could do worse,... More

A very clean and neat night market. All sorts of handicrafts and souvenirs at cheap price. Not to forget to bargain at least 30-50% lower price. A T-shirt can cost as low as USD$2. A comfort knee length pant only cost USD$4. Bargainable... Try the local massage for only USD$2. Some centre charges even lower... Try it, you'll hook it....... More
