If you love the Lucy stomping grapes as much as I do this is the place in the fall they do a reinactment with gals all dressed up like that crazy red head ~ stomping away ~ Wow that was something to see. More

After a busy day of shopping in Alexandria on the way home my husband and I decided to stop by the Carlos Creek Winery... I am so happy that we stopped such a neat place and fun atmosphere. Carlos Creek has such unique, affordable wines. I'm a port-lover, and I think their port is AMAZING, especially with the free dark chocolate sample! The 30-minute tour is a perfect blend of fun and informative. The staff is always smiling and the grounds are beautiful to walk around - I recommend a visit for a date or a ladies' day... More

I will pass on your praise of our Port to our winemaker. It is his favorite wine to make (and quite time consuming) so he'll be pleased that you enjoyed it. Chocolate with our Port is a must! Now if I could find a way to keep from sneaking that chocolate myself . . . More

Dear rcschoon, I am so glad you were here last weekend! It was the EARLIEST we ever had a band play outside. Wasn't it GREAT! I can't rave enough at how wonderful carlos creek winery is, we went for the tour and tasting and had such a wonderful girls time out. I really want to go for the annual grape stomp/sampling/concerts I heard it's an amazing time! More
