There are many touroperators offering trekking in the Cordillera de los Frailes. But their profits go into their own pocket. Condortrekkers is the only non-profit organization offering these tours. The cement plant profits from the Dino bus, leaving from the plaza. This is the same plant that has plans to ruin the crater of Maragua in the Cordillera. The local... More

Condortrekkers is an amazing organization which offers much more than a day trek to dinosaur footprints and the seven waterfalls. There are multiple trekking options including 2, 3 and 4 day treks to the spectacular Crater of Maragua, hot springs, rock paintings and more! We went on the1 day trek with Randall to the waterfalls and it was fabulous!! The Lunch was amazing, Randall was a great guide and it was one of the cheapest costing trek amongst all the different companies.
