the dancing fountain is synchronized with the music ever so gracefully . You will be impressed to listen and watch the fountain dance to various international and local soundtracks .
it goes off every hour or so , so if you are by the dubai mall for a few hours you will manage to see it dance several times .

We've seen the fountains many, many times but the attraction of the Dubai Fountains is more that. We enjoy having dinner outdoor, watching people (tourists, really) pass by and take photos and just simply relaxing to the fountains' music. We didn't really plan to see it (didn't do our homework on DubaI). So we were walking inside the Dubai Mall and waiting for our shuttle to come. Get a front seat by one of the restaurants outside the Dubai mall from around 18.30 and enjoy the spectacle. It doesn't get boring even after the 4th or 5th show of the night.

A nice break from shopping, we watched in the early evening I believe they are lit up at night

Good to see this after the trip up the Burj Khalifa - it started at 7pm and lasted for 15 mins. No need to get there early as you can see it easily and hear the music - a very impressive show - and it is free.
