It a good thing to see, fast and unexpensive to do with family. Just near the gold souk.
You will be happy to take back some nice spicy back such as Cinnamon, safrano, all kind of nuts...Very nice perfumes. They sell little roses, ginger... Don't forget to lowdown prices by 2 as they try to sell you twice the value!...

In one of the store, an Iranian shopkeeper explained all about ginger, turmeric and different kinds of zaatar to me. Can be very educational if you ignore the repetitive attempts to lure you in byuing soemthing you never wanted to buy.

What an experience! To see these merchants busy buying and selling products all over the world. They are never to busy to attend the the tourist who maybe only buy a packett of Cashew nuts - real bussinessmen!

Just visit Spice market & Meena Bazaar for good shopping of perfumes, spices & excellent Dubai Chocolates. Must get the Le-chocolate, melting date & almond wrapped in chocolate. YUM. You can also pick some excellent dry fruits of Iranian origin.

A very nice place for all cooks and sensitive noses. Get ready to bargain and for some anoying "sellers" trying to sell you some copybags and copywatches.

Having visited the impressive gold souks, we made our way to the spice souks. The sacks full of coriander, cinnamon, rose buds, hibiscus, dried lemons and, and, and ... was a sight to behold.
