Old style, colonial feel, hardly any tourist, very cheap, massage 4 Euro per hour, sauna 1 Euro as long as you want. Sauna is small, divided per sex, and comes with free herbal hot tea to drink, there are lockers and changing rooms availale and there is a small shower room. Very relaxing, not very clean but who cares ?... More

Mattresses were dirty, staff were uninterested, and we all felt very uncomfortable during the massages. I would suggest going to the temple across the road and sitting quietly in there for a half hour and you will be much more refreshed. More

I didn't use the sauna or get a massage here but I urge you to give them some of your precious blood. It is 100% safe and they open a new sterile cannulation package every time they take blood. You also get a great yoghurt drink plus a t-shirt saying 'I donated blood' in local language for free. Laos needs... More

The location was not so easy to find, but I found it in the end. The staff was not friendly, only interested in your money. It was on a quiet afternoon, no other visitor was around. As a woman alone, I was not really comfortable to be massaged by a young boy (I did not have a choice), he asked... More

In short, crap. Looks like the original Red Cross from the war - run down premises, girl was more interested in looking out the window than massaging me. No atmosphere, old and scuffy. Stopped and disappeared from the room halfway through the massage. Very very ordinary. Would not recommned at all. Have a BeerLao instead, more relaxing. More

Great sauna and massage experience, staff that really know what they are doing and it's for a good cause: what's not too like? Sure it's a bit rough around the edges but that's part of the charm. The temple opposite is very impressive, too, while you are in that area. More

Although the masseurs were skilled, the ambience was not conducive for a relaxing experience. The mattress used was dirty and old. Overall, it was not worth the effort to get to the place which is slightly out of the city centre. More

This is not a sauna and massage to western standards. It is very basic! For my massage I had a mat on the floor and the "room" was just a cubicle with curtains round it. But then, what do you expect! It only cost a couple of dollars and it's all for charity. The massage itself was great and everything... More
