It is a very old market with beautifull facet and ugly interior. There is dirty meat market and not a necessary place to visit.

Old building erected by the british during the domination.
inside there are sseveral section , from the butcher , to the live animal and the Fish market , eveery thing.
very bad to see the pet market with animal costricted with ropes or ohter sispetm , without any respect.
bad smell everywhere ,and non easy to stay inside for the...

My family lived in pakistan for 15 yrs. Of that 15, 12 were spent in karachi. Every thursday my mom did all of her grocery shopping at empress market. We had the same cooley for about 12 yrs.
