The experience is beyond an explanation. Sight of high emotions from both sides of the border. Very entertaining and thrilling. The changing of the flag and the speed of the guards is remarkable. must must visit. Better to go early to have a seat close to the guards More

The greatest fun, with cheer leaders on either side (Pakistan and India) inciting the crowds to shout slogans, and border guards high-kicking, strutting and stamping, and nudging their crested turbans, in a performance clearly choreographed by the two sides together. Strongly recommended More

A thrilling and action packed evening with lots of spectators their just to watch the flag lowering activity at Sun set. It’s a daily activity but Sunday is houseful. We reached there early so that we can capture a good seat to enjoy the show. For local people this is a blood warming ceremony and much more for those who... More

The flag lowering ceremony every day is a great piece of theatre. And much less crowded on the Pakistan side than the Indian side. More

We went to the Pakistan side of the ceremony. Wagah is about an hour from Lahore although you might want to give yourself some extra time to get there because the traffic is heavy. The parade starts an hour before sunset which meant that (in February) they opened the gates at 3.30pm for a 4pm start. It cost 10R to... More

Do you like one of those days when you are sitting among a crowd of 5000-6000 people in a stadium with each part of the stadium belonging to separate countries? Countries which have been arch rivals for around 65 years and have fought 3 wars already? The crowd which is as wild as wild someone can be and insists on... More
