We visited the old town of Debrobnik in March and the weather was great, not too hot around 20C and the good thing it wasn't too busy although there were a few places not open. Absolutely loved the old town and we spent 3 days strolling around and then going back to our hotel in the afternoons. Very relaxing after... More

If I have to say just one word about the old town of Dubrovnik, the word is "magic". The old city is beautiful, amazing, full of little gems to find out, good restaurants, cafes and shops. You can also find great antique shops. I'm sure you'll want to return. More

Our RCCL Med cruise stopped in Dubrovnik. The old walled city is quite delightful. Local charm but don't say "Yugoslavia" to anyone. It IS Croatia and they are proud of that. We took the RCCL transfer from the port to the walled city and well worth the cost. Walked the east part of the wall. (I think 7E each but... More

I have been in Dubrovnik in Sept 2011 with my family. It really worth visiting. But very expensive, first of all, accomodation. Old Town is quite big and takes time to look everything around, I suggest other tourists stay there not less than 3-4 days. Must see places are Cable Car, Old Town Walls (there are several exits out of... More

The various areas in Old Town, Churches, shops, restaurants, bars etc were wonderful. We stayed in 'homes- B&B' and loved it. People were very friendly and helpful. We did the City Wall walk and the views were remarkable, it took about 3hrs to complete, but that included stopping for LOTS of Photos. We also did the Cable Car and the... More

It is a nice place, but way too many people. The place itself is very clean maybe even too clean, it makes it look like it was washed up just for tourists. Try to get up on a city walls and look outside, there are really great views to enjoy! More
