I have been traveling to the vineyard for a while now, and had never gone to the MV museum until this weekend. I went by myself on a mini-self guided tour of Edgartown first then went over to the historical society/museum. The lawn was well kept and had a few beautiful trees and such. The Camp-Meeting Association at Oak Bluffs is a wonderful example of the culture and values of the Victorian era. Those who discovered the charm and natural isolation of Martha's Vineyard found a spot where they could immerse themselves in their religion.
