I love the exterior of this cathedral, the colors are amazing and it sits on the top of Andriyivsky uzviz, so it's in plain sight if you visit the popular market street. Also good views of the Dnipro up there.

And this is just to confirm that the church is now open for visitors (for free) after the reconstruction. To enter the church, you will need to take the stairs between the souvenir stands, and there’s no access for wheelchairs to it.

Surprisingly, the interior of this church is in rich red. Lots of wonderful wooden sculptures. An insider tip: at the beginning of St. Andrew's descent (it's top end) turn left to the paved little street and go to Peizazhna Alley. It's the newest attraction in Kyiv, not known by many tourists yet. Lots of funny colorful sculptures by Skretutski and...

It is a piece of art. You should visit St.Andrew's Church before you leave Kiev. The view from the church is also amazing.

We made a visit and included making a Novena, with lighted candles. A very warm and spiritual event. Note that ladies have to wear a head covering to enter the Church.
