Not possible to go inside - externally - just as its name suggests. Appeared rather run-down, but worth a photo.

I love seeing interesting arcitecture, so this building was a good fit. It had so many animals on the outside of the building that we made a game out of it. Snakes, elephants, birds, rhinos, etc. Super cool.

Turn of the century building across from the former communist party headquarters, designed by an eccentric architect and covered with beasts of all kinds, some hidden. Made entirely of concrete, unheard of in 1905.

Check your travel guide for the history of this place. A local's tip: the little crocodile is outside of the building. The place is light and colorful inside. If you are after unique shots it offers great views on the downtown. If you can get a guided tour - go for it.

The building is nice enough and certainly worth seeing but the statues are so high up one can't see them all that way. It would have been nicer if there were fewer statues but bigger ones.

It's old and full of secrets..=)
Besides, it's situated in front of the President's Administration and the view from this hill is just awesome!
If go down from it by stairs you'll get to the National Theatre of Ivan Franko and a nice park next to it. The center (Khreschatyk Str. is in 10 min by feet from here)
