Micro level sized sculptures, amazing would be an understatement. The artist was there and would love to show you all about his work More

Really small and quite difficult to find (bit like the exhibits). Just amazing micro art. Felt a bit sad to see someones life work in about ten minutes - but a must see. More

This is a unique museum of the unique microminiatures made by ukrainian master Mykola Syadristy. His works will amaze you. Here you can see the smallest book the world over sized 0.6 sq. mm with 12 pages of the poetry of Taras Shevchenko, a rose branch that is inserted inside the hair (the diameter of the flower is 0,05 mm),... Miniatures Museum is located in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. It was created during the Soviet Union"s period and has not been updated since. It is very sad to see, really. Because in this museum are truly unique items of Ukrainian master Nikolai Syadristy, for example - a caravan of camels in a needle's eye of. If you have wandered into a... More

There are only about 24 items on display and it only takes about 15 minutes to tour, but it is well worth the time and cost. I was there with two dozen high schoolers and they were in awe of the items. They had never seen anything like it before. More

A ship, a bible, a clock and many other things -- carved out of objects smaller than a grain of sand or a human hair. Truly spectacular. More

This museum, which is itself not very large, houses some of Syadristy's most impressive works - everything from a flea with golden shoes to a hollowed-out human hair with a miniature rose inside. There are also works the artist completed including a portrait of Karl Marx composed of some of his writings - the letters of the text make up... More

Just come and look at all the miniatures and microcarvings. This is human-made but it makes you think what other wonders does our world hide that we just don't see. More
