Lipscani is the place to go if you want to go out in town for a few drinks or dinner and you want to see what the nightlife is like in Bucharest. Very busy place with plenty of pubs, restaurants, beer gardens, clubs. More

Lipscani is a street in the old town with a lot of restaurants, bars and old buildings, a place where you can find the Little Paris atmosphere. More

This presumably means the district rather than the street. The district is also listed as the Old Town - see reviews of that, Manuc's Inn and St Nicholas Church. The street Lipscani is not the best bit of the district, but has plenty of bars. Go there if you are from Leipzig, it is apparently named after long-ago leipziger traders. More

Recently renovated, Lipscani best captures the atmosphere of the old "Little Paris", as Bucharest was called between the two world wars. More

It's a work in progress area since the city administration is still finalizing the pavements/streets, however is a must see place when in Bucharest because it's full of pubs & restaurants and if the weather is good the terraces are full. Also you can see some nice architecture, so it's not just a good place for people-watching:) More

Vibrant area on a sunny day with many people out having fun. Nice flea market on the corner near the Metro. Place obviously still developing. More

Very cool area with lots of shops, eateries, and sites to fill the senses! Loved the musicians playing on the streets in the early evening! An unexpected pleasure! More

Lipscani Street has got a facelift recently and it is back to life once again. Countless pubs, cobbled alleys, wonderful fin-de-siecle buildings are all a real magnet for visitors. Come and enjoy it ! More
