The tour that we had paid for with our Travel Agent in Australia was cancelled at 8:00pm the night before the tour. Luckily the Tour Desk at Outrigger on Lagoon was still open and we were able to book a similar tour with Inland Coastal Tours at a substantially cheaper price

Me and 3 friends went to the waterfalls on April 20th. It was a great experience. We purchased the tickets for $70FJD each from a little shack just outside the hotel (we were staying at the Warwick). We drove in a black taxi with no seatbelts about 3mins to the old airport where they bought some kava for the kava... More

We took the trip on the 26th if January and there's only one word to describe the experience: awesome! It just happened that my husband and I were the only 2 people who were interested on that particular day but the tour still wend ahead and they referred to it as a Royal Tour. Well, it was! I would like... More

The Waterfall Trip is definitely worth a visit. If you don't have a car then go through Awesome Adventures. However, if you do have a car, drive yourself and hire a local guide from the village.Instead of costing us $180 FJ each, it cost us $14FJ each to go the waterfall and $10FJ for the guide for the whole group.... I had a great day with Sai, Junior and Minny. (Minnie? Mini? Sorry i don't know how to spell your name D:) The waterfall was so pretty but just a little bit cold. The staff were just so kind and generous, it was hard to leave them behind :( We also had a Kava ceremony and we had to ask... More

We took the Waterfall Tour in January 2013. Staying at the Sofitel, Denarau Island, the trip lasted from around 7:00am to 4:00pm. This consisted of a scenic bus ride through the Fijian countryside, a visit to a very authentic, isolated village, a 'Kava' ceremony to welcome us to the village, a long trek (~40 minutes) through rain-forest crossing nine knee-deep... The Karva ceremony Cheif of the village. Our Guide, Waqar was a wealth of local knowledge on plants for medicine, toys for the children & local Folke law. His personality was friendly & always will ing to help. The Waterfall trek was about 40 mins but worth it. Lunch was good. The water was cold but refreshing. As a guide... More

A fantastic day out with Waqa, Tui and the whole crew. Small bus took 15 from various resorts on Denarau island down to Sigatoka, short stop at Jack's for toilets and quick shopping, before enjoying the sights on land Fiji, the greenery, the roadworks, the 'salad bowl' and the local villages. Another short stop at the little village where a... More

My family loved this trip. it's a long way from Nadi, but if are staying on the coral coast it is close by well worth doing. We visited a local village. As the oldest male on the trip I was elected Chief of our party and had to ask permission from the village Chief to enter the area and visit... More

Although we did the tour during the September NSW school holidays, our family of 2 adults and 2 children were the only participants so we had a private tour of the village, "jungle" and cave with Waqa and his friends. It was unbelievably amazing. We met grandmother and enjoyed kava and lunch (plus beer and softdrinks) with the villagers (I... More
