It´s just a small fountain, and people have attached all sorts of padlocks to the iron bars of the fountain, some of them old and rusted. I guess the idea is that the padlock keeps the love locked in, but I don´t really think it works that way.
There is a good restaurant at the fountain corner where they serve...

A friend of ours suggested we have a look here at this unusual display -- it is a fountain where people leave behind a lock. So the fountain is full of locks of all sorts. It is worth a short walk to enjoy this, and perhaps leave behind your own lock!
