Had a wonderful time with Chef Carlos. He is so friendly and very funny. Just loved it! Went to the market with Chef Carlos and tasted many different fruits and seeds. Afterwards went to Chef Carlos' place to cook with him. His house is just gorgeous! Highly recommend it! More

The one day Culinary Excursion with Chef Carlos is an experience my husband and I will always treasure. From the introduction to new and exotic fruits, vegtables and seafoods at the market to the fabulous class at his roof top terrace this is a excursion that should not be missed if you love food, new flavors and cuisines. We were in Peru for a wedding and the bride set up a tour for a group of 8 guests. The bus picked us up at our hotel and took us to a local juice bar so that we could sample some of the local fruits which was an excellent way to start the tour and get to know Sandra,... More

We did a two week Peru tour with Pica Peru, including cooking classes and curated dinners. Pica Peru made many great suggestions for the itinerary and customized the tour to meet our requirements. The services were top notch. We are very happy with the cooking classes in Sacred Valley and Lima. We had lots of fun. We would defintely go... More

The Pisco sour recipe and tasting was an excellent touch and important to learn about Peru's main alcoholic beverage. It was made to perfection at La Gloria Bar, one of the best in Lima. Then the class... More

As a U.S. citizen living in Lima for the past few months, I have become very fond of and impressed by the local cuisine. I wanted to learn more about how to cook authentic Peruvian food, and this tour taught me more than I imagined it could. To start the day, Sandra picked me up at home and was incredibly... More

I was a little hesitant to book this tour because of the cost, but it is worth every penny. Carlos is a master chef, and a wonderful, friend and warm guide to boot. Both Sandra and Carlos' english is superb. If you are any kind of foodie, this is the tour that will allow you to experience everything food-related in... More

If you are into food, or at least curious about Peruvian food and food products, this is the tour for you. Carlos and Sandra were both so friendly, helpful and generally lovely. They are the kind of people that I want to be sitting across from at the dinner table with a glass of fabulous wine. Nothing was too much... More

From the start we were made to feel right at home with... More
