The historic centre is buzzing with people on their way to or from Machu Picchu. There are many restaurants and bars and places to see bands as well as dance the night away. Its a great place to meet like-minded travellers. Love it, and will definitely be back

Amazing experience, beautiful place. Dont miss the church and take a lot of pictures. I will recommend to visit the main square at night.

Peaceful Historic Center...leave your watch in your hotel, take your camera with you and just walk slowly. Get lost if you can, that's the best way to see the sights

(will not spoil the surprise for you :) ) Not to be missed, the history of the Incan Empire will seem to come alive again!
