Great place for shopping arts and crafts and have a nice homemade meal. With a lot of bars and restaurants. This is the trendy place to stay.

The historic centre is buzzing with people on their way to or from Machu Picchu. There are many restaurants and bars and places to see bands as well as dance the night away. Its a great place to meet like-minded travellers. Love it, and will definitely be back

valuable information, disliked the fact you can take pictures inside churches like in other important city of the world, can't show my friends about all the art and culture.

Amazing experience, beautiful place. Dont miss the church and take a lot of pictures. I will recommend to visit the main square at night.

Cusco's Plaza de Armas remember the spanish ones and, in this city, you find three churches and a lot of tourist, but good restaurants, plus come places to buy local stuff. While in Cusco, don't miss this square. It gets more beautiful at night

Many tourists visit Cusco as a stop-over to visit Machu Picchu - how sad!! Cusco is a beautiful, historic and most interesting city and deserves at least a four or five day visit (I could stay much longer). I recommend taking the double decker tour bus on the first day - to get oriented to the city. One can easily... More

Peaceful Historic Center...leave your watch in your hotel, take your camera with you and just walk slowly. Get lost if you can, that's the best way to see the sights

I liked the cathedral the best, hands down, no doubt about it!!! Will never forget the inkan intepretation of "The Last Supper" and all the other beautiful paintings and statues inside. (will not spoil the surprise for you :) ) Not to be missed, the history of the Incan Empire will seem to come alive again!

Q'osqo - Cusco -"Cuzco" was named by the Spaniards since they couldn't pronounce it well. Few years ago under pressure of the locals the "Z" was tanking out of Cuzco and replaced it with a "S" which it sounds closer to the real name.. CUSCO! - Cusco was the most sacred religious complex built by "Pachacutic" who's original name was... More

Visiting the most important Colonial landmarks which in turn show so much of the pre-hispanic splendor, should be a must for each and every visitor.
