I attended numerous concerts here when I lived in Quito. The auditorium is very pleasing to the eye, the acoustics are marvelous, and the audiences generally appreciative. The Ecuadorean National Symphony performs here, among other musical acts. You can catch the Symphony for the ridiculously low price of $5. It's a lovely setting, and the orchestra is thoroughly enjoyable.

If there is a concert at Casa de la Musica, do not miss it, a bit far to reach but it worst it.
