Really cool house! The house is spectacular with some great stories.... I didn't know him before the tour and that made no difference. You can go at your own pace and enjoy the amazing views from there!

Cool place even if you aren't that interested in litterature. Neruda seemed like a cool guy and the story of the house was pretty interesting. It also has a good view. Worth visiting for an hour or two.

For those willing to understand a little more about Pablo Neruda's lifestyle and inspiration, it's a must. For those visiting Valparaiso it's the most interesting place to know in the city. They have a nice infrastructure, with audio guided tours in English, spanish and even in Brazilian Portuguese.

Even if you aren't a Pablo Neruda buff, this is definitely worth a visit. The house is fun and quirky and filled with a whimsical collection of antiques and artifacts. The audio tour does a great job explaining everything and tells a lot of stories about each object and its significance in Neruda's life.
