Really cool house! The house is spectacular with some great stories.... I didn't know him before the tour and that made no difference. You can go at your own pace and enjoy the amazing views from there! More

It's a marvelously quirky house and provides a fantastic view of bay. I did think I was going to die on the bus ride up there though... More

Cool place even if you aren't that interested in litterature. Neruda seemed like a cool guy and the story of the house was pretty interesting. It also has a good view. Worth visiting for an hour or two. More

For those willing to understand a little more about Pablo Neruda's lifestyle and inspiration, it's a must. For those visiting Valparaiso it's the most interesting place to know in the city. They have a nice infrastructure, with audio guided tours in English, spanish and even in Brazilian Portuguese. More

La Sebastiana is well worth a visit if you have some time to spend in Valparaiso. It's one of the three (and some say the most impressive) houses owned by the eccentric poet Pablo Neruda and gives an interesting insight into his fascinating life. The property is set across five levels with a detailed audio guide explaining the significance of... More

I knew little to nothing before taking this tour of Pablo Neruda's home, but the audio tour was phenomenal!! I left wanting to read every book about the guy! The audio tour covers so many aspects of his life, and tells you what he was thinking, why he did things, where they happened, with who, it was very complete. And... More

Even if you aren't a Pablo Neruda buff, this is definitely worth a visit. The house is fun and quirky and filled with a whimsical collection of antiques and artifacts. The audio tour does a great job explaining everything and tells a lot of stories about each object and its significance in Neruda's life. Another bonus - the views from... More

I am an international tour director recently on a cruise around South America and rather than booking extremely expensive shorexcursions, I contacted thru Trip Advisor, our Guide, Vivian who was very well spoken, on time, and extremely qualified. I , and my wife were impressed with his love of this city even though he is from France and has only... More

My girlfriend and I visited La Sebastiana and really enjoyed it. The entrance cost us C$3,500, each. The house has four floors and we were provided with audio guides which were quite insightful. We took the spanish and english audio guides. I think they have them in a number of other languages. On the first floor of the house there... More
