It was a great ride up to the top of the hill in a very old tram. The view was fantastic, we were lucky to have a clear afternoon. On the way uo is the zoo. We did not gothere this time but it is worth a visit. More

The train trip up on the old funicular railway - or a stiff walk if you are up to it - and the view from the top. Try to get a non smoggy day if possible! Queues can get long for the railway on weekends and holidays so try to get there early or be ready to wait. More

Pick a nice clear day to take the funicular up to the top of Cerro San Cristobal and you will be rewarded with a beautiful view of Santiago. However, there are not many nice clear days, we got some hazy smog the day we went but it was not too bad. More
