Literally a once in a lifetime trip. Interesting once but would never repeat....basically a big long river with little else to recommend it except the outstanding trip to Devil's Island on the way back.

I book the 3 days 2 night boat expeditions through maia expeditions and it turn out to be dissapointing. Maia doesnt own the boat/tour, they hand you over to another tour agent who own the boat (I dont remember the boat and the agent name). The boat crew and the food is great but other than that, it is not...

We heard such good things about the cruises on the Amazon that it was supposed to be the highlight of our Brazil trip. In the end it was not, maybe because we expected to much. We took the 3 days, two nights cruise on the "Premium". First of all, it is not 3 days. We were picked up at 2pm...

Me and my husband just came back from beautiful, grand and hot country Brasil, where spent two weeks. Our shedule was very „tight“ – a lot of domestic flights, less sleep, but a lot of best impressions. During two weeks we visited Iguazu Falls, took three days boat trip to Amazone, relaxed in beautiful beach resort Pipa, enjoyed historic sites...

If your desire is to experience the Amazon (locals call it the Amazonas) River area of Brazil (local spelling is Brasil) I feel the Amazon Clipper Cruises offer the most comprehensive, informative and exciting tour available at a reasonable price. Specifically we chose the Clipper Premium which was quite comfortable with ample spaced rooms with two beds which could be...
