The theatres are beautifully built inspired by the shape of the Durian fruit on the outside, & the inside is no less. The theatre itself is classy, the seating is comfortable & give unobtrusive viewing. Tickets are fairly priced. All in a ll a great place to catch a show. More

View is nice with some restaurants along the bay where you can refresh. Sometimes there is live show on the theatre, it's free to watch, but watch out for untolerable noise - if it's rock music or other stuffs like that. Went to the last day of the show. The Esplanade has great acoustics, not a bad seat in the house, and the shows are always worth seeing. There was a group of young people doing live music, and they were great. Area was packed. More

I've been to the Esplanade for a couple of performances and always enjoyed the theatre. The seating and acoustics are good and the place is generally very comfortable and well organized. The other advantage is the wide range of restaurants in the complex, so you can make a good evening out of a visit to the Esplanade. More
