in this city area you will see people hustling and with brisk walking its a very very busy area with lots of tall buildings a extreme modern concrete jungle with shops food offices surrounding it its in a superb location as well slapped right in the heart of Singapore close to many of the attractions like Singapore Flyer, Marina Sands,... City Hall is actually not city hall at all. It's a MRT station where most shopping centers are housed outside Orchard area. There's also an air conditioned walking tunnel that leads you all the way to Marina Sands. Many eateries shops as well as shopping centers. A must to visit if you are short of time. More

Why have the Colonial look of the building when the rest of the city is trying to be modern, it is lost under the towers of High Rise concrete and glass blocks. It make is look out of place and soooooo average. More

The City Hall, in front of the large Padang field, has always been a memoir of Singapore. No one really notices it, probably because it has been so blended in with the trees and the grass that is no longer noticeable, or that it is overshadowed by more important monuments. Nevertheless, if one has the time, he/she could go there... More
