While I think it's a little crazy to transplant a good part of a forest and create a large air-conditioned dome which also has a basement exhibition about the environmental deterioration, I have to admit it is an excellent place for a visit.

There was nothing to dislike about Gardens By the Bay or Marina Bay itself. I only wish Cardiff could replicate such a great experience for its citizens.

Tropical gardens ,well set out,one could spend a whole day there, also have a look at the magnificent hotel while you are in the area.

We visited these amazing gardens whilst staying in Singapore. A few practical tips....1) if you have flown Singapore Airlines take your boarding pass as you get 10 percentage discount 2) go in the afternoon and stay for the light show (745pm) it's free and spectacular.
