Love Little India because its a nice break from the rest of the city's modern feel. Good distance too from Orchard road, and very accessible. Browse around the shops, and little alleys/markets, great fresh produce and loads of interesting little things to see and buy. Always bargain!

Heaps of Indian shops and grocers, plenty of Indian clothes shops and tailors. The ground floor has heaps of stalls selling Indian food on one side and Asian on the other. This place is a must.

Street food seems to have been swept away in Singapore, which I find a shame. But the hawker centres and purpose-built markets seem quite a good next-best-thing.
