I don't know why Trip Advisor still has this spot on it's list, but the cave has been closed for a long time already. Long ago, tourists (mostly American then) came to the caves and killed alot of bats. Some shot them when they were flying out of the cave to feed. It's all closed now.. and sometimes you can...

I didnt see lots of bats but the cave itself is worth going to. It's scary at first but gets exciting the moment you enter the cave.
don't let the official tour guide badge fool you, this is a country specializing in knock-offs . The cave itself is pretty cool, but there is no easy, or safe way in or out. I have crocs on and it was extremely slippery and steep, one wrong slip and you would be a statistic. This place would benefit by some...

There was a shonky tourist info stand which was empty so the driver went straight past it. Another guy on a motorbike came up alongside and showed the driver where to go.
At the top of the hill (the tricycle couldn't...

Once again on the other side of Boracay, we went on a batcave tour with this local. truly, this is a disgrace. There are no more bats, whats left is the stenge of a thousand bat droppings hardered and dried up from years ago. I hear there is another cave callled crystal cave which is a lot better
