Swam around from Diniwid and had money for coffees.. one staff member accepted our order, and then another said 'there is a 500 peso cover charge!' .. we asked if she wished to accept our order or not.. we only had 200 pesos.. she said 'how did you get here? this is a private beach' .. we pointed out that... Consisting of two small coves with equally small sandy beaches, Balinghai Beach can either be reached by outrigger boats from White Beach or on foot by "trespassing" through the grounds of the Houses (Bat House, Hill House, Rock House, Tree House, etc). It is small and secluded enough to be a secret romantic spot for two unless, of course, during... More

Try diving in Balinghai and look for the resident turtle, very friendly. Will swim around you and you can take pictures with it.

Balinghai Beach is truly a corner of heaven, secluded and protected by the masses. The place is located within the premises of a private resort, which is as well trying to take care of the beach, sometimes with deluding results, especially in low season. Perfect for an afternoon with the family, when you want to escape the crowded Boracay buzz

We've been on the both parts of Balinghai beach - the almost wild part and on the beach of Balinghai hotel. On the wild part we were delivered by boat for BBQ and snorkeling. BBQ from Red pirates was beautiful, but the beach in this place is not really good - many broken glass in the sand. The beach of... More

My boyfriend and 5 friends of ours rented a house in the nearby Alargo villas for 4 days, they are right next door, off the same branch road. The first morning we were politely stopped at the top and told that it was a private beach for hotel guests only, but as soon as they realized we would be buying... More

First of all, I want to be clear that my husband and I were very excited to book at Balinghai. We were so excited, we booked about 9 months in advance to be sure we could get a room. We saw the pictures, knew how peaceful and romantic it was, knew that it was more 'rustic', and knew about the... More

Great private beach in the Island of Boracay. Though it is a small cove but ideal for families and couples who want a peaceful but enjoyable vacation on the Island but not ideal for a solo travelers who want party all day and all night:) Since this is Private Beach (cove), it is located away from the crowded area of...
