It was pleasure to visit Candi Prambanan, it's clean with fresh air. If you go there, i suggest to go there at the morning, or evening.. it was the best time. Don't forget to see other Candi ( temple ) around prambanan

This site blows you away. The sheer size of Prambanan is incredible and the knowledge that it was built so very long ago when modern day tools were not available makes you wonder how on earth they were able to build such a huge and intricate structure.

Must see. only 15mins away from Sheraton. As well as main Prambanan site, got to see Ratu Boko too....stay for sunset. During some months, you can see Ramayan play with Prambanan as the backdrop. We did not going during this season, but would like to return and see that

This temple is about 30 mins from Malioboro Street area. If you want a private car/taxi, hire one from Malioboro street and negotiate a price round trip (driver waits for you). The immense construction is overwhelming to look at. Unfortunately earthquakes and vandalism has taken its toll. Restoration work is ongoing though.

Prambanan temle is impressive from far... and the compound was also great.. clean

Prambanan is a little more spacious than Borobudur. The stone work isn't as fine as you'll see in India or Cambodia, but still an impressive place. I'm sure more figures have 'gone' from the site since I last visited 14 years ago... we'll worth the entry fee

I visited this sight after spending time in Bali (with much newer hindu temples) and after viewing Borobudur. I agree that this sight isn't quite as spectacular as Borobudur, but having not seen Angkor Wat or any other asian temples, I was quite impressed.
