A beautiful place with wonderful views. Sadly, as we visited later in the day, once again Mt Merapi was shrouded in cloud, but it was a special treat to see Prambanan in the distance. More

Don't visit if you are expecting full temples to walk through. Site is spread out, and mostly in ruins. But I liked being able to see what was still standing and try to figure out what it was for and how it was use. Great view (especially of Prambanen) from the lookout area. More

Ratu boko is nice place to visit for those interested in historical and arceological places. The place is clean and it supporting infrastructure such as restaurant, parking space, restrooms etc is well maintained. It seems that not many people knows this place. Me and my friends visited Ratu Boko during weekend, and there were not many visitors there. More

Ratu Boko was memorable for many reasons. Usually, people go there to enjoy sunrise. But, the temples are not carrying well by the official. So, i think they do need more serious to keep the spirits behind the temples still alive. More

Buy a combined ticket for Ratu Boko and Prambanan at US $20. The transport to the hill temple and palace complex of Ratu Boko is free. The site of Mt Merapi and the Prambanan temples is bonus. The palace complex and a cave must be seen. There is a water pool complex as well. More

The only one reason to visit this place is the date when it was built. Nothing else. May be only the restaurant with an awesome view for Prambanan and Jogya. There are not so many ruines inside that are lying on a big territory. Nothing special, don't lose your time. More

The entrance of USD10 per person is too expensive as there is literally nothing there to see. More

If you are not a fan of historic ruins, dont bother to go .. it wasted. but if you go to ONLY see the view from the hilltop around sunset, it might be suit for you. Agreed with other saying restaurant was horrible. and overpriced , i cud have just brought my own drinks and snack , way much cheaper.... More

$10 admission per person and there is literally nothing there but a poorly reconstructed gate. Not sure how this even got on my itinerary but it was a waste. And the views to prambanan are pretty non-existent. Too far away to appreciate the sunset. The only benefit I could see to visiting this place might possibly be the view to... More
