I prefer to not go unless I have a serious matter to do in Glodok. It was nice to look around but I guess the whole area were just too crowded. Nice place to seek for Chinese books indeed.

Chinatown must be cleaned up in order to become tourist friendly. Too much garbage and no walking places

This Chinatown is very close to the infamous Jakarta Old Town. There are many stores that sell all kinds of electronics with great price.
