Well.. This place is a reminiscence of old Jakarta and if you're kinda like the place where you can have a good photo shoot, try this place.

The Church was closed but the administrator on duty was kind enough to let me in from the back door to have a look inside. The circular shape iwith the central dome reminds me of Pantheon in Rome, Italy. Glad I had the opportunity to view the church close up even though it was brief.

I only found the same long story and hystorical building like Immanuel Church is in Gereja Blenduk in Semarang.... they are both very beautiful and most valuable artifact.... love it to have it in our country

A nice Flentrop organ in this nice Cathedral. Be sure to check the name plates in the front of the church.

The building was historic, and although it is old but they maintained it very well. For me the highlight was the old pipe organ, which these days you can only see in dracula cartoon movies.. :D

The Architecture and design is very unique and antique. I really hope every church in jakarta will have a design like this one.

I like it that there are sufficient candles for me to light up and pray. I also like the grotto with Mother Mary statue in the open area.. the whole place is so conducive to praying and so peaceful and tranquil.

The ambience is very nice. It is sacred, in general it is well-maintained. Nice historical place to be visited.
