I've been to lamma island 3 times in the past 2 years. Reason is just for the calm and soothing atmosphere. No cars there to honk at you and make you frustrated. The people there are chill and friendly. Nice bars for the night, and nice coffee shops for the afternoon. The beach is not big enough to say the...

Call up the Rainbow restaurant and they will set up a boat for you so you don't need to take the ferry. This is a seafood lovers dream. Do not miss the Mantis Shrimp with salt and pepper - by far the best dish of the whole trip. If you have never has fresh abalone, this is the place. This...

This island is well worth a visit, far from the madding crowds.
Caught a boat to one end, then walked to the other end with good views of the coast line on the way, had a fabulous fresh sea food meal then got another boat back. People are friendly and helpful.
