Unfortunately the Museum was under renovations when we visited, so can't really give a fair review. As other reviewers have said, the location and views are excellent... enjoyed the few exhibits that we did see. A good museum shop too..

This is an oasis in a bustling city, with good exhibits of both modern and ancient art. More than that, it offers one of the beat views of the harbor from air conditioned facilities.
It's well run, quiet, and not at all busy. Since it's right next to star ferry and the promenade, just walk over, look at the view...

If there is nothing else that Hong Kong, and specifically the southern most tip of Kowloon, has in June, it is temperatures over 100 degrees and way too many people buying way too many luxury goods. Its in a very central location. The viewing overlooking the harbour inside the museum is beautiful. We went on a day where admission was free which was a bonus. If you're interested in asian art, its a wonderful place to be.

Really good exhibitions, but after the first time one should only go back for the temporary exhibitions, many of which are superb. This is on the Tsim Sha Tsui harbour-front, and there is also a theatre here worth looking at, along with the other museums.
