Make sure to go there an hour before sunset to be able to see the city both at day and night. It is recommended to get there by bus in order to save the cost of the tram and the long line of people waiting... Don't go there if the weather is cloudy, you won't be able to see anything.

The Peak is a large mountain. You look down on Hong Kong. The view is very nice. You can take a bus or a tram to go up. I took the tram. This was fun.

My rating is low because unfortunately on our visit the peak and all of Hong Kong was shrouded in heavy mist so we could not see anything! The funicular is fun but beware of long queues. best to go very early (opens 7.00 a.m.). Lots of tourist shops and cafes at the peak so it is tourist central but certainly... More

Yes, everyone else takes the funicular railway up to the Peak, then if they must, walk down. We took a wrong turn and ended up walking to the top and taking the funicular down. It gave us a few bragging rights and sore legs. Looking back, if you can make the walk up to the Peak, then do, the views... More

We went up on a cloudy day and saw literally nothing, it was very disappointing. There is some good restaurants, walks and shops at the top, but it is meaningless without the view.

It is very convenient to reach the peak using the Peak Tram and if you are interested in some truly spectacular views, take the HK $35 pass to the Deck. The views are stunning and you can get some great night shots, provided it is not raining or cloudy which is very common in the month of May Another attraction... More

The Peak Tram is a must in Hong Kong. The views from up there are just amazing, especially on a good day, Unfortunately it has been built up so once you reach your destination at the top you must walk through the compulsory everywhere in Hong Kong shopping centre before you can get outside to actually enjoy the view. Can... More

The Tram up is an experience in itself, and the view from the Peak is a must when in Hong Kong - so cool! A luch outside after being on the top is a very nice way to end it before taking the tram down again.
