A great way to spend the day, trekking across Lamma Island with some great views out to sea. At the end of the walk grab some lunch in one of the many seafood restaurants More

A must if you want to get out of the city. The trail is quite difficult so avoid renting a bicycle and avoid coming with young children. Try both beaches. More

Go for the tree hugging. Stay for the Kin Hing Tofu Dessert. It is right smack in the middle of the island along the hiking trail, can't miss it. Warm or cold, either way it sure hits the spot after a sweaty little hike. More

Lamma is one of the smaller outlying islands in HK but with very much it's own feel and identity. Great hike with beautiful views and a great way to spend a day out of the city. Lamma is not just for seafood anymore ;) More

Lamma Island is a lovely place. Take the ferry from Central Pier 4 for a 30-40 minutes ride. We started our hike from Yong Su Wan to Sok Ku Wan. This seem to be a more difficult walk (walking uphill) compared to the other way round. However, at the end of the walk, we were rewarded with sumptuous seafood at... More

We took the ferry from Central to Yung Shue Bay on Lamma Island. The ferry ride was approximately 25 min. From Yung Shue Bay, there is a clearly marked walking trail to Sok Kwu Bay. The walk took around 1.5 hours through local houses, hills, cliffs, beaches, etc. Relatively easy walk and pleasant views. From Sok Kwu Bay, we took... More

Walking across Lamma is great - you can either begin at Yung SHie Wan and head to a hearty meal in Sok Kwu Wan, or begin at Sok Kwu Wan and end up at one of the cafés or restaurants in Yung Shue Wan, getting a ferry back to town. Some nice little beaches, too, and try to talk to... More

Go during cooler days. It is good to end the trail at the restaurant for lunch. Thus good to start around 10-11. Eating at the rainbow seafood restaurant allows you to take the free rainbow ferry back to central. More

Don't be like us and get confused when walking around and head to the wrong one! We had to double back after walking for 1.5 hours. More
