As we arrived at Chongqing Zoo I was very excited because I could not wait to see the Pandas. But what we saw was very dissapointing and quite disturbing. We visited this zoo while touring china March/April 2009. We were very skeptical about the Chongqing Zoo after what we had read. However, the Chongqing Zoo is great. The animals are all healthy and their areas are really nice and clean. Especially the pandas.
The pandas have the best enclosure, complete with a slide, and were happy to munch away...
