This is the worst experience I have ever had on a cruise-ship President Prime.I have no Idea where these glorious comments are comming from, we where re-routed to get on board at Fuling Pier instead of Chongqing which took from our airport arrival to getting on the Board 5 1/2 hours, we waited 1 1/2 Hours on a Bus provided... We spent 3 night and 2-1/2 days on the ship from Chongqing to the dam site, missing the 4 hour canal crossing since it was closed for renovation. The rooms were lovely, the staff members were excellent, the food was good, the entertainment was sweet, mostly provided by the wait-staff and housekeeping personnel but very professional. Highly recommended. More

This was our first river cruise and overall i would say that it was very good and i would recommend it.The food is ok, the ship is clean and the staff are very friendly. The evening entertainment is very very good. Please note that the drinks are very expensive (over £25 for a bottle of Jacobs Creek). Whilst at dock,... More

My Daughter, Mother and I did a 4night Yangtze River Cruise on the President Prime from Yichang to Chongqing, what an incredible, unforgettable experience. We had 2 Deluxe Balcony Twin Cabin’s that where spacious and right next door to each other. Passengers will experience the joys of Chinese cuisine, expertly prepared with the highest quality fresh ingredients. Sumptuous western and... More

Took the cruise from Chongqing to Yichang. Very crouded ship. The Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner Buffets were a mess. Seemed like hundreds of untamed animals were let loose from cages screaming, pushing and grabbing food as if there was no tomorrow.. Can do without this Zoo like atmosphere. More

We took the President No.1 cruise ship from YiChang to Chongqing. It was a little sketchy taking the taxi down to the docks late at night, but we made it safely. Accommodation onboard was okay, but definitely not luxury like I expected. We were told it was because this ship is one of the older models. We upgraded to a... More

The arrival to this cruise ship was not spectacular. We were transferred from the Pier at Yichang by bus to the start location (as the ship locks on the three dam gorge was still not complete) of our tour. This bus was dirty, not all seats were functional and cramped. On arrival, we were put into rusty large dock elevators... More

We have lived in China for over a year now and decided to sail from Chongqing to the three gorges dam with Victoria cruises who boast they are the only 'American company' on the Yangtze. As you board the ship, you are greeted by a gold plated bust of chairman Mao and the upholstery is as worn and Chinese as... More

We did the three-day cruise from Chongqing to below the Three Gorges Dam in mid-October 2011, and loved it. Granted, it was part of what seems to be a very common whirlwind tour of China - with a couple of days each in Beijing and Xi'an first, and a few days each in Shanghai and Hong Kong to follow, so...
