The small rock cut tomb of the Official Sennedjem has an extensive grape arbor painted on the ceiling, unifying and making nature important. It is small, lavishly coloured, well preserved.Particular images from it have featured in most Egyptology books..The tomb is situated just above the workmans` village at Deir el Medina.Tickets for the tomb and other tombs in the area are available at the West Bank ticket office. As the tomb is... Included on most tours to Deir el-Medina, the tomb of Sennedjem is one of the best, if not the best, tomb of a noble that visitors can see. Dating to the 19th Dynasty, the quality of the paintings within the tomb is outstanding. Amongst the scenes are: Anubis embalming the deceased, Sennedjem and his wife before Nut who ascends out...
