The sound and light show was truly stunning, especially the first half! We visited the sound and Light show before seeing Karnak in daylight and seeing it lit in the way that it was was breathtaking. The narrative that accompanied the show was interesting and informative. Being able to walk through the temple really added to the experience. The second...

The light part was excellent. Music and narration I could have skipped. Being at the Temple at night was pretty amazing.
There were wild dogs (not dangerous) roaming and barking which was a bit distracting.

Lovely to see it all lit up and very atmospheric.Must admit the narrator got a bit too in depth and I lost track of who was who regarding pharos. Felt they could have done more with the sacred lake but was a good experience overall. Take mosi spray and cover up a bit is my advice

If you get chance visit Karnak temple durring the day - you will see much more and you need daylight to see the detail of the hyrogliphs. This trip was OK, but once you have seen it in the daylight the night show seems a bit disappointing.

Prepared for the night, Karnak Temple sound and light show gives the feeling of being taken back to the times of the Ancient Egyptians when the Temple was in full operation over the millenea. The history of the Temple is awsome and has many delights to offer the spellbound travellor. Fantastic.

i loved the temple even during the day, but at night it was simply magnificent! just like a trip into some magic land! do not leave luxor without visiting the show! its lovely to walk between the columns at night, a completely different atmosphere than during the day..observe the sky, you can see stars much clearer than in big cities...

it's very theatrical , but has some wonderful images. The sound track is pure Cecil B. De Mille.....think the Ten Comandments mixed with Cleopatra. Voices done by famous british actors it can be quite funny at times.
