The Aswan market stretches for many blocks one or two streets back from the Nile and parallel to it. It's a great walk even if you don't buy. The Sharia al Souk is the main shopping street in Aswan. You'll find it listed twice under 'Things to Do' in Aswan. The other listing to check is 'Aswan Market.' They are one and the same.
