Our sailing day on the Glory of Nubia was an adventure that left a memorable mark in our hearts. Everything on that felucca was more than perfect. The oriental atmosphere, crew, WONDERFUL food, songs, dance etc etc etc... The Glory of Nubia is an adventure to be recommended, ABSOLUTELY. It was one of the best tours we had in Egypt.... More

My family and I visited Egypt last December. We sailed on the Glory of Nubia during 3 days from Asswan to Kom Ombo. That was the highlight of our trip. It's an adventure that we highly recommend. Compared to the other feluccas that we passed by, the Glory of Nubia was THE boat that everyone stared at. Plus the food,... More

Wow what a felucca . It is very difficult to add more comments about this Felucca you really have to experience it yourself. From the luxury, cold drinks on arrival. The cup of tea in the fine china with cake. Dinner on the roof top. The staff with happy smiling faces. We only did 2 day trips I could only... More

I did many felucca trips on the Glory of Nubia. It's one of the best feluccas I've ever seen in Upper Egypt. Extremely spacious, fabulous Nubian food including water and soft drinks, comfortable mattresses and winter blankets, professional crew, Australian-style camping toilet, solar energy system and more importantly a unique cozy mood in the evening with the brass lanterns and... What a way to travel. Four days aboard the beautiful Glory of Nubia, I felt like the Queen of Sheba. Sailing down the Nile under sail with the current was the only way to see life in Egypt. Watching the life on the banks pass you by, everyone waving and smiling, it was blissful. The crew made the trip, from... More

While I was in Aswan in March, I had the great good fortune to spend some time touring the Nile aboard the very glorious Glory of Nubia. Travelling the Nile right down on the river, vs up on a cruise boat, you get a whole different perspective of the river. It really is a liquid highway, and a vibrant community.... More

We sailed 4 days on the glory of nubia from Aswan to Edfu. The cruise was out of this world. Great colours, brass lanterns, comfortable mattresses and pilows. It was like a dream and a one thousand and one night adventure. The crew was GREAT. We got like a big one family. We sailed close to the banks, met people,... More

Glory of Nubia was an amazing way to spend a day on the Nile. Laying on plush pillows while sailing around the Nile was surreal. Getting on the boat was sort of like stepping into an Arabian nights setting. Definitely a major step up from the typical felucca tours that we saw. We spent the day on the felucca, rode... More
