This giant statue moved from the Ramsess square to this recent place near airport. I love this giant statue. Is not a must see but if you interested in Ramses story, this is worth to visit. Still in very good condition!

The move of this statue, which was deteriorating from the Cairo smog, was featured on National Geographic TV. The move was an engineering marvel in itself. And preserving the statue is well worth it. It will be displayed at the new Egypt Museum once built near the Giza Pyramids. Go see it!
