Price for tourist is now 30LE. This is worth it, as the musicians and dancers are talented. Show lasts an hour, no video-ing. (Strictly enforced). The zil player was my favourite of the musicians. High quality Arabic musicians. Show was lively- most of the performers have high energy and seem to enjoy their own show. Mostly Egyptian audience was lively,... More

The all male dancing troupe was absolutely amazing twirling in circles for what seemed like hours without falling down or passing out. The musicians were loud but fun especially the fellow with the finger cymbals.

Beautiful colours and music, and how that guy spun around for 40 mins without stopping I have no idea!, but a little long and loud at times (he claims he wasn't, but my boyfriend looked bored towards the end)

Location is a little difficult to find, but the setting, ambience and performance make up for the effort.

Amazing experience ditto what others have said. Took our 8 and 11 year old children who were dubious after being dragged around various other Cairo sites. They thought is was even better than the pyramids . . . And all of us were totally uplifted by the dancing which nearly didn't happen due to a power cut in the area.... More
