This electrifying 90-min show, on the comically-charged efforts of four cooks who are tasked with preparing an entire wedding banquet in just one hour, is one of Korea's most popular musicals of all time. Since its first performance, this world famous non-verbal performance made a record of 20% above full capacity at the theatre driving the largest number of audience in Korean history. « less

It was a very relaxing evening full of slap-stick humour. Actually, the performers are in incredibly good shape as they whacked and whaled with knives for two solid hours. Lots of laughs. We found a coupon that let us go for half price. More

NANTA features the kind of mostly-physical comedy that Koreans seem to love, and this is a good thing, because it transcends language boundaries fairly easily. As long as you're OK with lots of physical comedy, you'll enjoy it a lot, because for a slapstick show it is very, very well done. More

Like others have said, you don't need to know Korean to enjoy the show. It's a non verbal and a very unique show combine with food, aerobatics, singing, cooking, drama and all in once. We sit on the second row from the stage and it worth every penny since we have clearer view . We really enjoyed the show, laugh... More

I suppose this is worth a visit if you are running out of things to do, but unless your humour is very basic (think slipping on a banana basic) I think you will spend most of the two hours just staring. The idea could be really good, but many "skits" have little to do with cooking, and although the attempt... More

You don't need to know Korean to enjoy the show. Great show if you enjoy slapstick comedy, kind of a cross between Blue Man Group, Marx Brothers and Emeril. If you are a foodie don't miss it!! More

There was some (very little) Korean dialogue but you didn't need to understand what they were saying to know the meaning. Great show if you like slapstick comedy, impressive rhythmical percussion and street-performer style acts. Certainly worth going to see. I chose one of the balcony seats (1) because it's cheaper and (2) because under no circumstances was I going... More
