If you like ritual and incense, visit when there are services here. Don't be made uncomfortable by beggars, they believe that if you are noticing that you have a connection to God, you might also notice that they are in like you, but in need. The grounds are lovely, too. It has a long history that is worth learning about. More

The Crown of the kings was given by the Patriarch at this Church, also a majority of weddings of Royal families took place there. Has been built on 11th century and has ancient ikon's. Please note that men should wear long trousers, woman long skirt and scarf to cower hair. Please take it as a respect not restriction. More

The location is tops and the interior is very interesting. I took more shots of the cathedral and the surrounding buildings than any where else in the Old City!! More
