there's a very good reason why at dusk this hill fortress/monastery situated between Mtkavi River and the Botanical Gardens is busy at dusk...mostly with young couples looking for somewhere for a quick snog....BECAUSE it's the only place in the city where the nosy mothers of Tbilisi cannot easily get to.....bring your climbing shoes and DON'T LOOK DOWN! It's small place, but could be wonderful in route from the monument of Gerogia-Mother and then after visiting Narikala you could visit Botanical Garden behind, old mosque down the street and bath district Abanotubani. More
