Despite following explicit instructions (its not in the sat nav) and having a detailed map, Film City is impossible to find.
It is a place to go to to explore areas otherwise very little known to those who live here in Doha. There are actually "two" Film City. First one is like a small and ancient Arabian village typically seen in the movie. When you go in, you will be greeted by the caretaker and he will tell you which place... More
its a bit hard to find at first but a good fun day out and really feels like your on a expedition. I come out with my dirt bike most times and enjoy the off road ride.. but make sure you have a 4x4 just incase
104km from Doha City Center out Dukan Hwy. The first 85km was a normal highway drive with nothing to see, but the last 19km just got better and better. Once you turn off Dukan Highway at Zakrit exit you will just drive out by the waters edge and then the beauty starts, the erosion carvings with all the colors and... More

I really liked the natural sand erosion sculptures only 10mins... More
Takes while to get to film city. Only for the hardcore film buffs, there's a little to see but make this just one of the stops on your trip out to the peninsula otherwise it's a long way to come.....
