I think that this was a nice and entertaining place that lost much after the war. I was at exhibition and market there, and I enjoyed it.

The Beirut Hippodrome has horse races every Sunday - head upstairs for a late lunch, a few drinks and bets on theTote. The Favorite does not always win! Enjoy the sport of millionaires for the price of a couple of drinks!
